East Africa is the Horn of the Regenerative Agriculture Revolution: Move it Forward!

Soil restoration in the birthplace of humanity: Your donations help restore a very important part of the world.

"Africa contains ... some of the world’s most diverse and biologically important ecosystems [that] provide the economic foundation that many Africa countries rely on by providing water, food, and shelter. However, because of climate change, these ecosystems and the livelihoods that depend on them are threatened." Soil4Climate has been engaged with Holistic Management training and regenerative grazing and agriculture in East Africa since 2017. The courageous leaders your donations enable hail from Kenya, Tanzania, and Malawi. Get to know them. They are standing for *your* future:

  • Dalmas Tiampati of the Maasai Center for Regenerative Pastoralism in Kenya - Dalmas is working with Maasai villages to implement resilient grazing and farming practices to improve soil and empower people. Soil4Climate donations have enabled training, animal purchases, land leasing, veterinary services, and a variety of infrastructure improvements, including a new corral and watering point.
  • Geoffrey Ouma of the Mabinju Power House Youth Group in Western Kenya - Mabinju Power House provides agroforestry and silvopasture training and support. Soil4Climate donations have also enabled the purchase of gardening supplies, seedlings, and a dairy cow.
  • N’ding’a Ndikon of the Enkop Naboo Organization - Soil4Climate support has enabled food relief for grazers in the Emboreet village whose animals were dying during the recent drought in East Africa. Training in Holistic Management will follow.
  • Blessings Mlowoka and Pike Ng'oma of Hope Ministries International in Malawi. Hope Ministries works with small-scale farmers to boost their livelihoods through improved grazing and agroforestry practices. Soil4Climate support has enabled purchases of seedlings and gardening supplies, including new watering cans.
